Frequently Asked Questions
Why is there a recent change to prices?
This is due to the change in course structure for some of our qualifications.
How do prices compare to other training providers?
Our AAT prices include all material, books, kits & pocket notes plus one exam sitting for each unit enrolled on. Free subject support is available for all students via arrangement with a tutor.
Our CIMA & ACCA prices also include all material but currently not exam entry fees. Free tutorial support is also available.
Make sure you check what is included in prices and what age you must be to qualify for the advertised price, before making decisions. Remember that our class sizes are small and, whilst we are not in city centre locations, we have ample free parking and high standard of classrooms.
I am unsure what the new AAT AQ2016 syllabus means for me?
Do contact us if you have any queries/concerns about the new syllabus due to start September 2016…watch our website/facebook/twitter pages for news of open days coming soon!
I still have units to complete on the old AAT (AQ2013) syllabus, can I study them with you?
Yes. Our AAT classes from 1st September 2016 will follow the new AQ2016 syllabus, however students who wish to complete the unit on the old syllabus will receive free tutorial support to prepare them for the AQ2013 assessment.
Do I have to pay for the whole AAT level in one go?
You can choose to enrol and pay for each unit separately and spread the cost over the length of your course, however this does work out to be slightly more expensive than enrolling for the full level.
How do I go about enrolling?
You can enrol on line via our booking form or contact us via telephone 01952 240066 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do I pay for my course?
Once you have booked your place we will invoice you and payment can be made via BACS or cheque payment. Please note that our terms are that payment must be received before the start of your course.
I want to go to university, will AAT be worth any UCAS points?
Yes, details of the UCAS points available for the AAT AQ2016 Advanced Diploma in Accounting will be confirmed by AAT shortly. Furthermore, some universities will also give exemptions from the first year of relevant courses if you have the AAT level 4 qualification.
Can I study one or two AAT units rather than a whole level?
Yes. we offer complete flexibility to study on a unit by unit basis – whether it is to complete a level or fit in with work or personal circumstances.
Is there a maximum class size?
Yes we have small classes so that we are able to offer good quality teaching & tutorial support.
I would like to study CIMA or ACCA but I am worried about courses being cancelled – is there a minimum number needed?
No, we do not have a minimum number of students enrolled for classes to run. We have a commitment to run courses even if there is only one enrolled!
Am I too late to start an AAT course as I missed the September start dates?
No, we have many start points throughout the year. You can choose the unit or date that you wish to start and follow the remaining pattern of units to complete your course
Are you an approved AAT centre?
Yes we been through the lengthy approval process & have met the strict guidelines for high quality internal processes.
Can I sit my AAT exams at your centre if I’m studying with another training provider?
No unfortunately we are no longer an external assessment centre for AAT.
