About Our AAT courses

Students can enrol on individual units or the full level in any combination of course dates & times offered. A discount is offered on enrolment for the full level. Course fees include all resources and one exam sitting per unit.

Tuition is intensive with use of quality Kaplan materials. Day classes are 9.30am-2pm & evening classes are 4.30pm-9pm. Tutorial support is offered to all students as necessary. Expert tutor direction & support is aimed at first time passes. Practice assessments are available and exam sessions are offered on a flexible basis during the course(subject to availability).

Level 2

No qualifications are required to start any of the level 2 courses. However students who have not achieved a level 2 in literacy or numeracy may be required to undertake some extra tuition in this area.

Level 3

The majority of students will have been successful in either the level 2 foundation certificate in accounting or the level 2 foundation certificate in book keeping. However students are assessed on an individual basis following our equality & access policy, and may be given permission to start their AAT studies at level 3. Students who have not achieved a level 2 in literacy or numeracy may be required to undertake some extra tuition in this area.

Level 4

The majority of students will have been successful in either the level 3 advanced diploma in accounting or equivalent. However students are assessed on an individual basis following our equality & access policy, and may be given permission to begin their AAT studies at level 4. Students who have not achieved a level 2 in literacy or numeracy may be required to undertake some extra tuition in this area.

Enrolment

Courses must be paid for in full upon enrolment. We reserve the right to cancel or vary any courses without liability to Severn Financial Training Ltd or its staff. Any cancellation has to be confirmed in writing at least 7 days prior to the start of a course and a refund of 90% of the fees will be made. No refund will be given when cancellation occurs within 7 days of the commencement of the course. Any membership fees for the institute administering the qualification or any exemptions requests are the sole responsibility of the student.
